Apparently they used the markings of the road to calculate the speed (if you know the distance between say two lampposts and the time taken to pass between them, you can get a rough idea of the speed).

What I wanna know about is the Audi.

Harsh charges - they've come down on you harder than they have for other people doing faster speeds.

Just reading the BBC article, it says that they got the video from the file sharing website - so does that mean that the police weren't actually active on the forum, but just your video host? (i cant remember if it was put on youtube, or another similar site)

Also, what happened to the Audi??

I was watching Road Wars last night and some nobhead who was a disqualified driver who tried to evade the police but got caught after smashing his car up only got a 12 month ban. WTF is going on!!  :surprised:
