Plastic bumper trims
Chris:
Can anuone recommend a good plastic detailer/cleaner to use on black plastic bumpers etc. I currently use autoglym plastic and rubber stuff but once the rain gets on it it goes streaky
stealthwolf:
The vinyl and rubber care IMO is pants.
To clean properly you need a degreaser or all-purpose cleaner. I use megs apc. At a push, tesco's daisy cleaner or whatever it's called is good when diluted down. Apply with brush. At the mo, AG bumper care is okay but very runny hence apply onto cloth and thence to the car.
LouCyffer:
Autoglym Bumper care. As Stealth says, apply sparingly, then buff it with a cloth. Won't go streaky, reapply when it no longer beads water droplets :happy2:
