IPOD lead question

Hey all,

When i plug my iphone/ipod into the lead thats in the glove box i run my music it through it fine but how the hell do i know
what playlists im looking through without going in my glove box??? It only says Tracks 1,2,3, etc when playing....?????

Any help greatly appreciated.

You cannot get this track info unless you have either an aftermarket head unit or a VW RNS510 satnav head unit. I had the same issue and went with an aftermarket head unit.
