Northallerton VW
« on: September 04, 2010, 08:31:11 pm »
A bit corporate and the blond woman on the desk is really quite rude (not the good looking one)  :P
Parts could not be bothered most of the time and saw them wiping down some fresh paint with an old crumbly rag and some cutting compound. :stupid:

Sadly not good as this is my local dealer.

On the lookout for another.....reasonably close by

I`ve used them in the past, they ordered some parts in for me that were wrong, said they`d get the right parts in and would phone me. They never rang me back. Gave up and went elsewhere. Also went to look at a car there and was very dissapointed, it looked like it had just dome a rallcross event. I dont think I`ll bother with them again.

I use Harrogate VW which so far seem alright.

.
I suggest that anyone here who has had bad experience of them, or any other VW dealer, should contact VW UK and drop them an email.

ALL VW dealerships are supposed to meet certain standards of service to customers and if VW UK don't get to hear about it, how can they wave a stick at them in everyone's best interests.

I agree that people should commend AND complain. Too often people just complain. I have informed VW as suggested (in a polite way).

Of course people voting with their wallets also gives a sure sign.
