If you enjoy mental braking, sod the cost  :happy2:

All done.. px side was much easier, nothing stuck and I bought an impact driver to tackle the disc retaining screw. Discs swapped over, which was a complete f*ck of a job juggling jacks and ramps etc, but got it done.

Took it out for a drive and rang a local garage and got in booked it in there and then to get the front toe set. It wasn’t a million miles out but happier to know I won’t chew the front tyres. Px pads were not as bad as driver side.

Brakes are silly sharp now, initial bite is ridiculous compared to the old ones. Guys at the garage loved the car and the chap said he “nearly went through the window” when he stopped it.

Booked in for mot too on the 3/11

Correct. I think the term is "f*cked"

All my rear bushes (expect the toe bush) are original and 14 years old so instead of poly bushing or replacing the OEM bushes at huge expense I decided to go down the Lemforder OEM route. All the bushes are already pressed in making it a job I can easily (providing the bolts are not seized) DIY it.

I managed to get all this lot off eBay for just under £100 which was a real bargain IMO. I just need the trailing arms and a few more bolt kits and I should have all the stuff to do the job for ~£230. Even though I do have an OEM bush, I might use a poly bush on the lower hub joint as it’s in 2 bits and wont require pressing in.
