I like a lively rear end on both my women and my cars so i run the bars on the '30 as front soft and the rear on its hardest setting, really helps to bring the rear round and will even pull the front in on lift off if you need it  :happy2:

Richn83:
Bit late now but as for the front lights, MY06 and before had 3 bulbs one for each passenger and general one, after it was dropped to just two one for each passenger.

Sorry to hear about your brake Rich how did you manage to keep up with the Clio's?

Ahh thanks for clearing that one up... i was sure my old 2005 car had 3 bulbs!  :signLOL:

Ive got over the caliper coat cracking now, they work and thats the main thing (even though they really shouldnt have cracked at all :fighting: )

Keeping up with the clios was tough, they are just so much more agile (maybe slightly bigger gonads too)... but the advantage of having a turbo is apparent when on the straights. Horses for courses!

Beddie.. i might adjust the rear ARB to stiff when i'm back at home next, see how it effects things.  :happy2:

Funny comment from one of the guys when i had my car on idle to let the turbo cool down "Turn you car off.... it sounds like a diesel"  :signLOL:

Thats a bit un-called for  :fighting:  did you tell him to put his car back in the cracker it fell out of  :rolleye:  I know its good practise to run the engine after but there is a turbo cooling system built into the GTI it runs one of the pumps cant remember if its the oil or water the wrong way pushing water through the turbo housing until its cool.

As good as the clio's are when on one I know which one I would rather have as a daily and wouldnt want to surrender my low down grunt for high reving lunacy.  you posted in the woking mini meet thread I had the feeling you were up near MK?

rich83:
I know... he just had badge envy!  :innocent: Didnt know about that cooling system, good to know  :happy2:

Im in harrow.
