They look really good. Would look better on my car, though!
If I ever get a job I'm gonna save some pennies and get a set of these to go back OEM.

....Funny you should say that, Simon, because I was going to post that these wheels would really suit a Mk5 R32 but be more practical for cleaning than the R32's originals.
What wheels are you currently riding on (when you ride)?

I think my car would've come with Omanyts anyway, just in a slightly different fitment. I still have the Speedlines on at the moment. It'll be a long time coming anyhow, as these cost almost 600 quid each new!

Later generation (up to 2008) Mk5 R32's came with Omanyt's as standard. The 'Zolder' style alloys were on early Mk5 R32's. However both R32 wheels are 18x7.5" ET 51. R36 alloys, mine , are size for size with BBS VZ033's so are a perfect fit. :happy2:

I managed to pick up 3 for £75 with minimal whiteworm. I thought it was almost a lost cause finding a fourth so phoned Western VW for a price on one wheel, £578!! :surprised:
I then had a brainwave and went to eBay.de. Plenty R36 wheels on there at the time and I paid €150ish to have one totally mint wheel delivered to my doorstep.
See here for muchas Omanyt info: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,40276.msg476889.html#msg476889 :happy2:

^ Early Mk5 R32 wheels.
^ Back in the early days I nearly swopped my GTI for this. But in spite of that glorious V6 sound, a back-to-back 40-mile lap road test demonstrated to me that I preferred the driving feel of my GTI.
