vRSAlex's Octavia vRS Estate - New Mods On
danishmkvgti:
Great work Alex, looking forward to a partlist and DIY on the TT hubs, as they seems to be a step better than the S3 hubs i have currently fitted. Happy New year to you also.
BTW have you had a chance of getting the Top mount Mod made??
DaveB@Vagbremtechnic:
Also the steely eyed ones amongst you will see that the TT hubs also have the same thickness caliper mont lugs as the ironnhubbed gti so technically all GTI BBKs fit..... cant be said for S3 hubs

I was pleased about this as it makes upgrades much easier. People with buy brake kits on GTi's can easily upgrade to the TT hubs. Well easy ish anyway. Would need to check disc to ball joint clearance too or have you already looked at this Dave?
DaveB@Vagbremtechnic:
It's actually ok as long as you're not too ambitious with the disc assembly total height, I do a fully floating in the bell Alex BDM special setup for the TTRS that brings the OD down from 370 to 362mm can't remember without looking at the drawing but I think the height is 54mm on a 32mm wide rotor and that's close enough.... AP go closer on the cup kit.
That assembly also is bolt onto an S3 as it mounts on the front of the lugs of the S3 al la GTI/R32.
Glad you're pioneering this Alex, I think they're lighter still than S3 hubs. Is there any geo benefit over say S3 hubs with TT bottom arms?

Which hubs do the Cupra sport?
