Its going to be the start of next year now.  Ive got way too much work on customers cars to have my car on a ramp for a few days.  I really want to get it done too.

Clutch is much better now its bedded in.  Pulling away revs have dropped now and it only judders slightly if you get it wrong.  The pedal has softened up and ive got used to it as well.  Well worth putting on and the diff is still awesome.  Takes a but of getting used to where is best to put the power down esp in the wet, but the maps brilliant throttle control helps.

Any updates, Alex?

fai point, its post xmas so we must be due a new Hybrid update

Update time.

Hybrid is still waiting to be fitted.  I have ordered some IE rifled drilled rods along with some ARP head studs.  These should be with me next week, but I wont have a chance to get them fitted until we have moved to our new unit.  I guess its going to be around mid March by the time I get a free day.

I have had a slight knock from the front and rear of the car, but as usual Ive been so stacked at work that its taken me a few weeks to look at the car.  The rear knock was just the exhaust on the axle which is sorted now.  The front knock was a cracked dogbone bush (the small one not the THS one in the subframe).  Got a new dogbone (you cant just buy the bush) and as I had a spare subframe centre I threw a VWR VT road mount into it and put that on the car too.  Feels like an improvement over the THS mount, but not by much.  I still had a little bit of clutch judder when pulling away which has gone now, mainly from changing the cracked little bush.

Before Xmas I fitted a Forge catch tank.  Meant for the Golf hence the sighting window being in an awkward place.  Already drained the thing 3 times as they like to fill with moisture more than oil.

Also fitted a Bolero (RCD510) a few months back along with a Dension Gateway 5 and a new Can-Bus module

Today I gave it a wash (bit of a sh*t pic).
