HOLES IN CARPETS

Hello everybody.i have got gtsport tdi 140 ,and at about 4k i noticed a hole in the drivers footwell to the left of the footrest about 2 inchs in length... i bought this car brand new and did,nt exspect this..i took it to the dealer yesterday to find out there is only 6 month warranty or 6k on the carpets they class it as drivers abuse and ware and tear.they are going to do it because its still within the period...has any body else had this problem ,if so is it a massive job they say 2 days.volkswagens have been in my family about 40 years and never had this problem

Not heard of anything like this or the fact they only offer 6 months warranty on items like the carpets :confused:

I have! There's a lady at work who has a GT140 and has worn a big hole in the exact same place with her high heels! :confused:
