Best reasonably priced brakes

(1/4) > >>

Weston:
Getting remapped soon so would like to explore the possibility of better than standard brakes without spending ££££ for a completely new setup. I find the current ones ok till I s#%¥ myself on a corner this afternoon!

So my question is simply what discs and/or pads give the best improvement for the best price? I don't particularly want to change anything but the discs and pads but am open to persuasion

Top Cat:
Depends what you plan to do with the car, if it's just for fast road use, the the R 32 set up should be more than enough for your needs. if you plan to do a bit more ie the odd track day then you may want to get a bit more serious.  :driver:

The "not quite so big brake thread" is quite a good read.

Janner_Sy:
A Set of performance pads would be a huge improvment for only a small outlay

Thanks, that was a good read. Lots to think about.
