What rotary tool bit was used to cut the door handle case plastic? I'm in the process of doing my front doors next week and need a little guidance.

My front doors are done and wired up like from the factory. I bought rear door handles off a breakers and modified them. Now I need to sort out the rear controllers. I too have the lowly 1K0 959 703/704 C (GEN1) controllers, which need to be swapped out for newer ones. As I've concluded, 1K0 959 703/704 F (GEN2) should work for me because it is used in the 2005 Passat B6, which at the very least should have door exit lights from the factory. Any ideas?
