stock mode after battery disconnect query

(1/2) > >>

john_o:
as you all know I fitted my THS mounts at the weekend, so battery has been off for around an hr.
Reading around this means REVO software has reset back to 'stock like' settings which Carl indicates is B1 / T0 / F0
BUT when driving the car it certainly isnt 'stock' like! ok its slower but it still pulls over 20psi and drops back to 15 ish.
(previously stock APR mode was more 'stock' like 10-12 psi)

does everyone else find this?
Im assuming it has definitely dropped to stock mode.

Im now out of warranty but from my perspective my dealer would easily have known its mapped with REVO 'stock' mode, whereas they wouldnt with APR 'stock' mode.

Hedge:
I think the best thing would be to read the values using the SPS, cable and a laptop, assuming you can still do this.

vRStu:
There is a 'grace' period which I guess defined by how quickly the remaining current dissipates from the ECU.  As Ian says you would be wise to check with the SPS.

john_o:
sorry guys cant do that (unless I try disconnecting again), have subsequently reloaded via SPS new settings.
Im pretty sure current had dropped enough as the highline reset all figures for mpg/miles etc
Just surprised that stock doesnt seem very stock ....

RedRobin:
For what it's worth, on my Revo2 K03 GTI 'stock' mode definitely feels stock and much slower.

A very useful feature of Revo if you have a problem and need to nurse the car, especially when combined with D-mode on DSG.
