« on: February 15, 2009, 10:09:15 pm »
since xmas i have been saving up to get some coil overs fitted, after a bit of research i picked the kw v1 because of good reviews and also they are stainless steel and don't rust like some others...

my question is ......is thier a cheaper alternative but most important don't rust..

Eibach pro-street-s are basially the same but abouty 50 quid cheaper I think. The eibach uses KW dampers.

Eibachs aren't cheap, maybe save £100 over KW1, oh and rust is only an issue if you can't be arsed looking after them.  :happy2:

I have the Eibachs and recommend them highly.

Why not Eibachs then, as they are stainless too?

^ I wondered that too, they're basically a KW v1 with Eibach's own spring... and they're hardly unknown for producing quality in that dept.

Not sure they're as great value as they were though, with the price increases recently? But deffo not to be sniffed at.
Sideways yo!
