When it's settled, bear in mind that various sigs should change how it's styled so that it's visually consistent. It is in fact a logo, or more technically known as a Logotype when lettering (aka type).
A consistent logo will reinforce and promote the site's graphic identity far more effectively.
Sorry for the lecture but you're talking to a Corporate Identity specialist (retired). I had clients such as Coca-Cola so know a thing or two - Such as don't mess with their logo or you'll meet their heavyduty Atlanta lawyers!

Like TC said it's a work in progress, I would welcome suggestions from anyone for a better font to use (other than Tahoma) for the Mk5GolfGTI.co.uk text on the logo. :smiley:

What about the font VW use for GTI etc? Anyone know what it is? Maybe just the red GTI bit in the logo?

Does anyone know what that font is called?
I remember reading somewhere that it is not available? It looks very simple though. Probable like tohoma etc.
