Advise needed on suspension set ups please

(1/2) > >>

GTsport:
 Hi folks,

Want opinions and suggestions on suspension set ups please. I want to go lower but not ridiculously low, i go on building sites for my job and dont want it to become a massive issue catching. Also i dont want to go miles away from the factory ride - i.e make the ride feel harsh. Basicly this car is my work horse

Do i go for springs, springs & shocks or coilovers?  There is that many different set ups  :scared:

So if you can give me any advise it'd be much appreciated -  Pictures of your car lowered & what set up your running would be a big help

Cheers

Get some eibach springs if you only want to drop 35mm if you need to lower get some ap coilovers.

I'm on H&R's dude, without adding the WALK and ARB's it was pretty much close to OE. Granted a slight bit firmer but nothing drastic.

If you want your more than welcome to ride shotgun and see for yourself what its like in terms of comfort etc.

As he says, get some H&R springs  :happy2:

I started off with H&r springs and was very happy with them, but have since changed a few times to try out different coilovers.
Had Bilstein B16's which were great, but did not go low enough, then have gone for some FKs (which don't have the dampening settings, and as such bounce all over the place, shockingly poor ride IMO) Getting some AP coilovers fitted the end of the week, which have the dampening adjusting, and can change the ride height quite easily.
