crikey mate you've not got the rings either?

some wheels are made for a generic fitment, the rings are added to suit individual fitments to ensure accurate fitment

did that make sense?

yeah i know what you mean, i knew they didnt look right but im a ttl noob to this. i guess ill just give that revo place a ring and just ask them for the bits i need. probs end up paying a bomb but safetys first.

is there a chance that i could have damaged the thread not on the bolt but on the car ie the hole the bolt goes into?
I feel like a ttl tit about not knowing the basics  :sad: lol

impossible to tell without looking but can still be corrected with a tap and dye device to clean the pattern of the thread, worst case increased in size with a new one, thats just labour costs but most garages will clean the thread for free in a case like this i reckon...if it was needed

any of you guys know of a good garage to take it too to get it checked out and get all the bits round the newcasltle area. just i dont want to be driving it round much with the other 3 wheels still on with the wrong nuts.

Mr Chip can you not put the other wheels back on. If not dont drive your car anywhere. Get it checked out by a qualified person first.  :smiley:

Bolts are just over a £1 each.. Quite a good investment if you ask me..  :wink:
