I have been thinking about doing something similar myself, did the cover take much prep work before spraying?

Cheers, nah not much prep work needed just sanded it down a little bit to roughen it up a little so the plastic primer takes to it better. Then the usual methods of sanding then next coat etc.

Ok, cheers, looks like that is something else I can do to put off the house DIY then!  :happy2:

Engine cover looks mint I did this a month ago but the middle part fell off and the heat twisted it all and the fan cut through it   :ashamed:

 Was it because the middle wasn't secured correctly or did something else cause it to disconnect from the main cover?
