2nd hand autotech fuel pump? worth buying or not?

(1/2) > >>

heavyd:
Hello folks. I have the opportunity to buy one of these. But when speaking to my local friendly tuning company, they said they wouldnt be prepared to fit it for me as its 2nd hand, but they also sell them, so they might just be trying for an extra sale  :popcornsoda:
Just wondering if anyone had had any problems with 2nd hand units in the past, or if its an easy DIY?
They did say If I removed the pump, and took it to them, they woukld fit the internals, but to me, I cant see the difference in turning up with the whole car and getting them to do the lot?
Thanks in advance for any replies :happy2:

hello mate, why are these so pricey? Anyway, here is one on ebay,  as new, and seems far cheaper than a few other sites I looked at..

£265 + p&p

No issues I have heard of. Plus they sound like they are talking rubbish. The 2nd hand internals usually fetch upto £200

Must resist , funds low coming up to Xmas  :sad1:

can you be certain they are 100% uprated autotech internals and not just the old internals that someone could have removed when fitting their uprated HPFP internals kit
