Clicking sound

Hi all, I picked up a gt tdi 140 54plate, last weekend and noticed yesterday a scratching/clicking noise coming from the left hand side of the engine, where the belt is, i believe.

I am also getting a bit of a shuddering that feels like the car is wobbling a little when i'm stationary, but not all the time.  The revs are static on idle at 800rpm and turning off the heating/climate doesn't make any difference.

The cambelt was changed about 10k/1 year ago, so I would imagine it can't be that.

I'm hoping that someone may know what this is so I can get it fixed under the warranty I have.
