My RNS 510unit has the new touch screen.  It also came with the V3 disc.  Car is only 3 months old.

Newer A firmware (and all version B) don't allow you to do this. The setting needs to be enabled in VCDS.

yeh, which is why i asked how new it was, out of interest what do you adjust in VCDS now then ?

ahh, so if i update to latest version i can still get the menu when i have VCDS it , what doe the update do ?, anything usefull

Hi guys i have just updated to the latest software 1100 and im afraid to say it wipes ure map and hdd,so i will have to reinstall map and all my saved music again :sad:
