Recent Mk5 GTI owner here, I was coming from a Mk2 1.6 CL so was a big step up for me, absolutely love it :happy2:
Is that laser blue? Looks a bit different, maybe due to the rain or light.

Nah its shadow blue metallic. Quite rare from wht ive read. Its pops really well in the sunlight.

I think Shadow Blue was discontinued by VW as a colour option quite early IIRC.

You certainly don't see many Shadow Blue ones about so it may well have been discontinued. None of the blues are that common really. Not as rare as those seats though!
