the bruce:
Some time ago I told on this forum Kerscher fenders are top notch (and better than SRS).

rex:
And a small update:

I am not pleased with the sound of the current camera so I will take the sound from the GoPro Hero2. And I will also experiment with more angles because the current camera stays on the car in the current position (even if the quality is not very good, the angles are excellent. I can easily see the lines and what is happening in the car and behind the car).

fuscobal:
Congrats rex but the sound on these small wide angle cameras is not great either. Please compare the movies I made with my SONY HD camera vs my Drift HD170

SONY :

Drift HD :

rex:
You are right there is a big difference between the two. But the sound from GoPro Hero 2 should be better than my old camera.
I also saw Adrian's videos and the sound was ok.

rex:
I haven't written here for a while so it's time for an update...
Pieces are coming in and I will struggle to have everything fitted (except the roll cage which has a 8-10 weeks estimated delivery time  :sad1: and it has only been 4 weeks).
I will try to have an update here as soon as the pieces arrive and are fitted.

At the moment the car is in service for 2 reasons:

1. A woman failed to give way then changing the lanes (the bumper is scratched, and the front left wheel is a mess as you will see in the photos below)

2. Fitting the Kerscher wings.
The guys made a test and they fit very well. I want to see the finished product before saying anything else, but the future looks promising.

Jake, (danishmkvgti) I remember posting a similar image and there was a large gap between the carbon fender and the bumper. Here the lines are better and in my opinion close to perfect.

The inner wheel arch has to be modified. I marked with a red line the area that has to be removed. The Kerscher inner fenders will be bolted to the remaining OEM inner Wheel arch.

Cheers!
