If you still have the scratched seats, I suggest vinyl wrapping the backs.
I didn't like the high gloss black on my Recaro's so carbon vinyl wrapped them:
What material are your Kerscher fenders/wings made of, please?

Top advice RR! Thanks! :notworthy:
The Kersher fenders are fiber glass.
The last weekend I took the front bumper off to adjust the fender mountings and now there is only a little gap between the bumper and the fender. So it was my mechanics fault and not the fenders!

And one update...
Today I had the car serviced. I changed all the filters + engine oil (Motul 300v 5w40) + brake fluid (Motul 660) + coils (hope to get rid of the missfire problems):
I also changed the rear pads (I am keeping the Ferodo DS2500 compound). The old ones were not quite done but I decided to change them anyway.
And last but not least, I changed the lower engine mount / torque mount. I went for Tfsi_Mike's Volkswagen Racing mount (from what I saw it could be a prototype, Mike correct me if I'm wrong) because THS didn't quite know what engine mounts are ok for my 1.4 TSI engine...
I have to write my thoughts in the review section but I will share my thoughts here also...
Well, I can tell you that the mod was felt right away. First of all the exhaust has a different sound (it is not only me some other people noticed also).
Than I can tell you I feel that the engine + gearbox are not moving when accelerating or releasing the gas pedal. I like this a lot. The car feels much much better.
The only downside is that at 1500 RPM some engine vibration is transmitted in the cabin (similar to diesel engines at very low RPM) so I have to avoid 1500 RPM.
Thanks for watching!

Very glad you've experienced the benefit of your new mounts Vlad! :happy2:
The engine movement was reduced so much when I upgraded my lower mount too.
It is VWRs new lower mount
the bruce:
Glad to hear you solved the fender/bumper gab issue. :happy2:
You went from a poly insert to these?
Do you already have uprated upper engine mounts?
rex:
Yes, it is a poly insert.
No, I have the stock upper engine mounts because THS don't quite know what mounts I need for my 1.4 TSI engine and I decided not to take a chance and blow 200 GBP.
