One more video from this year's Nurburgring trip...
This is the first lap after putting all the wheel bolts on and it is peaty much a warm up lap (I meant to go slow in some parts either because of the tires/brakes or because I did not like the way the car behaved).
I posted this video to see the camera position I used with Fuscobal's mount (http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/magic-arm-super-clamp.html). I like this camera position the best. .
This lap I used another GoPro to film the dashboard and see how fast/slow I am going. Unfortunately, in the fastest sections of the track (before Schwedenkreuz and Fuchsrohre) I had some traffic so I could go faster on an ideal lap (the highest speed this trip was 194km/h measured by GPS):

Some other videos will follow with different camera angles.  :popcornsoda:

These weren't in the plan, but I liked them too much not to have them:

It is a R32 (MY 2009) instrument cluster bought off ebay from a Danish service (http://autoparts24.eu/). From the pictures above you can see they are in near mint condition.
Compared to my current instrument cluster this is highline and with a completely different design compared to non GTI/R32.

After reading the midline to highline topics, the other instrument cluster swap topics and terrorizing EddieNL(thank you again for taking your time to answer my stupid questions) with my questions I understood I have to buy a instrument cluster that has a code close to mine (preferably only the second to last digit should differ).
My instrument cluster is 1K0 920 864 A and the R32 one is 1K6 920 874 B. The K0/K6 should be the difference in design between the non GTi/GTI instrument cluster and the 6/7 should be the difference between midline/higline computer.
I haven't installed the new instrument cluster because I can't code the new cluster (and non of my friends also). So on Thursday I have an appointment at the VW Dealer to have them installed (I was quite surprised to know that for mounting and coding the instruments cluster they would only charge me 26 GBP).
Can't wait to have them fitted!  :jumping:

Nice! Now to get polar!

rex:
Yup, that was another reason I wanted to switch to highline. I won't get the polar right now, but it's in the plan  :happy2:.

rex:
Manged to change the instrument cluster (at the dealer).

The mileage is still the one from the R32. The dealer couldn't change it but I guess this is fine also.
I am very happy with the result. What do you think?
