Yup. But thank you!  :notworthy:  :drinking:
I have the pdf in English for 1.4 turbocharge & twincharge If anyone is interested...

And now the engine is in pieces... I had the cylinder heads checked and it looked like it was loosing some pressure because of the deposits on the valves.
The mechanic also found out that the timing belt was a little bit worn. I have a chain timing belt so that is pretty unusual (I only have 50k miles). The mechanic said it was not a must to change the belt but I decided to change it just to be on the safe side. Tomorrow the engine should be put back together and I will hopefully post some pictures of the operation.

All the best!  :drinking:

Any possibility to fit the natrium filled valves of the Twincharger-TSI?

Basically the cylinder head should be 100% identical. So the valves on the twincharged TSI should work on my car.
Could you please give me more info on the valves?  :notworthy:

I just remember that the Twin has natrium filled outlet valves (which the 2.0 TFSI also has).
Natrium filling improves heat conduction. So the outlet valves run cooler.
VW saved the money for the 122 HP engine because it produces less heat (refer to SSP).
There's a second SSP432 related to the small 1.4 TSI by Audi.

By the way:
Interesting that the small 1.2 TSI are just 8 Valves.  :chicken:

And the video with the Tranfagarasanul climb (the one pictured in Top Gear):

....Excellent! I enjoyed that very much  :drinking: - Great road and great choice of music "I'll see you when you get there". Thanks!  :happy2:

Thanks for the tip! I will investigate...
Now the cylinder heads are investigated because some cracks were found.... The cylinder head has to tested to see if there are any losses at 12 bar...

Yup, very interesting... I could have bet that it was also a 16 valve engine

I am glad you liked the video!

It was very hard editing the videos (with my level of skill) but I hope to improve. The first video was more challenging. I guess you don't like the music and scenery on the first video  :sad1:...

And here are some photos of the operation taking place...

The current state of the work:

The cylinder head and valves:

The upper part of the cylinder head:

And the "gigantic" turbo:

The car is still at the mechanic because, when examining the valves, some valve guides were damaged and needed to be replaced. But these small hollow cylinders who's only purpose is to guide the valves can only be ordered with the whole cylinder head. Not wanting to spend 1000 EURO on a new cylinder head I am now searching for other cylinder guides from other VW cars to see if they fit. So, fingers crossed, I hope to have the car running next week.

All the best!

And a small update...
Last week the remaining parts arrived:

So, by Friday the car was ready.
I decided to go slow to make sure all the components were ok. So for the next 4 days I didn't push the car. During this period I was very careful with the engine's behavior. Monday and Tuesday the car began to make strange noises. So I visited the mechanic and he said the roller cam followers were to blame. I asked him to take a closer look and then left for work. Unfortunately, after 15 minutes he called back and he said that 5 minutes after I left we wanted to go for a test run and he didn't have the chance because a missfire occurred on Cylinder 4. The took the coils and plugs out and he saw there was oil in the cylinder. He then showed me the spark plug and the cylinder and I decided to leave the car over there to have a complete review of the engine. Basically the oil is entering the combustion chamber either from the bottom or from the top. I will have some new cylinder seals and check the cylinder head once more to eliminate the problem.
I opened up the engine to eliminate a small missfire issue and ran into a lot of problems  :sad1:. A new engine is starting to make sense (twincharge or 2.0 TFSI)...
Hopefully everything will be ok and I will be able to visit Nurburging and Hungaroring in October.

All the best!  :drinking:

Ouch!  Sounds to me like you've deliberately broken the engine so you can get a newer improved one!

Ed30 block and a Loba should perk things up Rex. :jumping:
