brake noise

hi there i'm new to the mkv gti's  :grin:,(2007 gti) when i brake at low speeds and reversing there is a sort of grinding noise ? don't notice noise when i brake hard at normal speeds, only had car 2 wks but noise always been there, should i be worried and get dealer to check them out ?

Sounds like you may have a stone stuck between the disc and the guard. Or your pads are completely worn down to the backing.  :laugh: Only kidden about the worn bit, as it would grind everywhere.  :happy2:
