Sounds exactly what good brakes should do!

VW just haven't gone that extra mile on the GTI and especially the Ed30 - Wouldn't drivers have preferred better brakes to red stitching!?

I guess their thinking is that there's a healthy aftermarket out there for such options. Actually we get better choices in the aftermarket imo.

Apologies again on any suggestion you drink-drive - I would hope that absolutely no-one on this forum does so.

Whatever happens....DO NOT PAINT THEM!!!! they look great just as they are. I'd be tempted to paint the rears to match the colour if it was me. :happy2:
