Fuel good or fuel bad it still isn't the recommended octane. Should be 98+

Put £25 in last night, (v power nitro) I'll use that up then do a proper  fill up with V power, my missus want to use BP for her nectar card, what's there fuel like?

It's only 97RON and 98 is what's recommended on the fuel flap.. I'd stick to V Power personally

Funnily enough i been thinking about this too as getting used to the car. Filled up a couple of times with 95, I'll try the Tesco super stuff next time.

Ive never found the Tesco Momentum to be that good though I use it quite often due to the price. Although it's high octane I get better mpg with regular Shell 95.  V Power is the best I've used, I notice the difference instantly, the engine is much smoother but it is very expensive about 20p a litre more than their regular fuel.  Esso super unleaded is more reasonable and pretty good seems to last a long time. Only tried BP once and the car didn't like it, started stuttering, ESP light came on and then the power cut out. Had to restart - quite dangerous, so never used it again!

Was that the BP super or whatever the higher grade fuel is? I've used the BP 95 and it's been ok.

It was the standard one I think, just stuck £20 in as I was empty and it was at a services. May have been a coincidence or BP fuel is just very different to what I normally use and the car didn't like the change!

Got to say I can't tell the difference really, I tried a few fill ups at shell nitro but can't tell.

Sainsbury's also do 97 but not on all of their forecourts.
I don't think it even exists down South.

Poor attitude to customers in both north and south of Ireland.
