Not seen mine yet as it has just arrived at home so there may be fitting info.

Surely the centre console looks best.

I tried door location but hated it (and it would have needed some sealant to secure it properly), although it is the OE place.
So yes mine went onto the ashtray lid in centre console , using the rib to position the lower edge of the badge.

fitting info in bag is wrong though LOL, and yes its on drivers side, not passenger

i put mine here temporary but moved it to correct position now !not sure what to do with my spare now !!
