JackG:
Hi guys, I've recently got my ed30 and I'm going to get it mapped around September time, I'll go for revo after I allways hear good things about them but I keep seeing AMD teknic in mags but I don't tend to hear of them on this forum, is there a reason for this? I allways thought AMD were good? Cheers guys
Jack

I'd like to know about this also as I'm thinking of having a remap with them. :happy2: When briefly I asked before I was told that their maps are good!

Carrera2RS:
I have used AMD in the past when they were Oxford way. They have been round a long time and were one of the first to map cars 'professionally'.

They did a good job on a 911 RS for me in 1997  :happy2:

Different company now. It used to be Big Boys Toys and they bought the AMD name.

AmD were considered the top dog by many some time ago but their standards slipped and their best guys left and formed APS. As Hedge says, AmD has risen from the ashes and, with Milltek, race a Mk5 GTI in the BTCC series. I don't have any personal experience of AmD's tuning nowadays but Shaun Hollamby who is MD is a very genuine and nice guy indeed - An exceptional bloke.
