Cat back exhaust question

IMO non res is soooo much better and to be honest on day to day driving you would be hard pushed to notice its not stock. However, when you press down on the loud pedal it sounds so much better.

I would think if you are going to spend the money mate you would want one which is louder and not quieter than factory fitted one? Otherwise why not just keep the one you have?

Hi folks, wee update. I have now fitted the resonated cat back exhaust on my golf.

You are all right, if the exhaust is louder I cannot tell, it might be a 'wee bit' but its too close to the standard sound. On the plus side its better quality, looks better, is lighter and gives a noticeable difference to the throttle response. I got a very good deal on the exhaust so i'm happy anyway.

I thought that it was the placebo effect but I noticed this too :happy2:
