Got a light on the dash, in the speedo, exclamation mark with a squiggle (if that makes sense)same as the SET button next to ESP on the ashtray front. I had a brake-light out when it came on,i have replaced the bulb but its still on ?

Is it the tyre pressure warning light?

Have you checked your tyre pressures? Once they are at the correct pressure, press and hold the set button until you hear a bong. You may have a puncture.

Ive been driving a MK4 for 6yrs, only had the MK5 a few days its taking some getting used to. It has so many tricks n toys in a good way though.

if all pressures are ok, press the (!) SET button till you hear a beep.

Should say what it is in your service book mate.
I had one come on the other day and had to pull over to find out what it was, turned out it was just the indicator LEd broken.
