I bought some http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=81  Bought two sets, one for dips nd one for mains, and they are excellent.

great service by Pb's too, you get 10% discount by inputting AYSCX1729.

I paid something like £60 for mains, dipped, silvered indicators and got sidelights thrown in free. Next day delivery too!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

This is a subject which will get a lot of people animated due to legality of these kits, but I will try not to start that on here as well

All I will say is in IMHO I would stick with the upgraded bulbs like the Osram's or Phillips ones  :happy2:

i have the xenon h7 ultimate kit from hids4u and all i can say is wow.. i know they are illegal with the strange law about having to have washer jets but aside from that they are very powerfull, main reason i got them as i work nights.

nobody has flashed me plus the police have not pulled me, maybe because ive kept the stock yellow sidelights

removed them within 5minutes for my m.o.t passed perfectly

also i left them in when was due in a service, even the vw technician commented on how bright they was  8)

Yep agreed  :happy2:,

If anyone new here wants to know why some of us get the cold shiver down the back feeling when the topic of retro fitted HID kits was mentioned just have a look at www.golfgtiforum.co.uk and do a search for "HID".  :scared:
