Im sure decats are sold for 'race use only' but never mind

Ive heard if you drive the car quite hard before the test, give it a good thrashing, then you can sometimes get away with a decat on mots
GTI Edition 30 - Reflex Silver now gone but not forgotten - Cooper S JCW now.

OK, so the problems go on.
Matsu was kind enough to give me his standard downpipe and cat, so took them to the garage to get fitted and retested,
Well, due to having a pipeworx exhaust with a 3inch pipe and the dtandard cat being only 2.5 then it would not fit, and they said that they wouldn't like to cut the pipes to make them fit, when I sold it, then it would make it harder to put back to standard, or if I changed my mind again then it would be difficult to rectify.
They have told me I need a 3" sports cat to get it all tied in.
Anyone any ideas on a good place to get one, and how much I can expect to pay please, and also how much I can sell my decat one that is on at the moment?

Thanks for everyones patience. :happy2: :happy2:

Not really an option to sell what  I have at the moment as I have the R32 style exhaust, and don't really want to go back to standard, may just phone bluflame and see how much a complete setup would cost, garage said not to worry too much about the free retest/10 day limit, as they would sort it for me for being such a good customer i'm sure!

Why don't you go for Yin's option on page 1 and get your standard downpipe CAT cutout and made with flanges and your Miltek modded to accept it?

Hurdy did it.

In reviews its Miltek Murder or something like?

Al. Try powerflow.

They sell sports cats that can be flanged and easily fitted.
