How best to remove scratches?
big al:
Hi guys, got a number of small scratches, zips, thrillers, that sort of thing. Have fit some dodo juice wax, but can anyone tell me a good cheap product just so that I can remove them from sight? And also the Rechnique used? None of the scratches are too deep, have a couple on the back of my recaro buckets that I would like to get rid of too.
Thanks

Where are these scratches?
And what are the back of the recaros covered in? Plastic?

One scratch is on the bonnet from when an oik jumped on it and broke my windscreen, then there are other ones about 1cm wide around the back panels.
The Recaro's are black shiny plastic, so have a couple of scratches on them.

I find metal polish to work quite nicely on plastic then a polish like Menzerna Final Finish on a finishing pad

Can you feel the scratches with your nail? If so then they can be polished out. improved but not removed as it's gone too far, probably through the clear coat and paint.
There is the product called Dr Colorchips which supposedly does a great job, never used it myself but might worth a go.
