AP Springs + OEM Shocks
« on: April 24, 2011, 12:44:27 pm »
Had my AP springs (boxed & labeled as 20mm) on for what must be nearly a year now.

The ride quality is super and I got the small handling gains I was looking for  :happy2:
The only minor grumble is that I had hoped for it to sit a little lower at the back.

While it sits quite well, I'm looking for literally 5-7mm lower on the rear axle. Could I gain this by changing the rear shock absorbers to something aftermarket or even another part of the suspension component set, or is that pie in the sky?
With the 18x8 Turinis I can't really go lower all round for practicality reasons as it's my daily. If I can avoid having to go down the new springs/coilovers route, that would be super.

Thanks.
