Hi Guys,
After quietly monitoring this little beast of a forum for a few weeks/months now I thought i'd better register and say 'Hello'. So, Hello!
I'm Adam, from South Yorkshire. We have just sold our Honda Civic sport that we have had for 4 1/2 years and bought a GT Tdi which, quite honestly, blows the civic out of the water! It's my missus car as I have a company smoker.
Its a, 2006/55 Plate Gt tdi, 5 door in black but has Climate, Auto Lights and Wipers and was just wondering if these were standard bits when new or upgraded.
Also, although car was way out of manafacturer warranty, we have just had a 'tempremental' ABS unit replaced FOC by VW. Outstanding customer service from a manafacturer thats serviced the car from new but is out of warranty by 2 years or so. Anyone else had this problem?

I think you have the winter pack fitted which was an optional extra, but I may be proven wrong by the guru's on here :P

Hi and welcome.
Winter pack = headlamp washers, heated washer jets, low wash fluid sensor and something else (heated seats?).
Autowipers and autolights are standard on the MK5 and I think climate control is standard on the GTI.
