Ive had a look and sure i found a site for wheels at £599 for 18s is this good? I will be hoping to be using these wheels and tyres just for trackdays (hopefully) dry ones. In this case would it be worth going for the R888s and whats the wear rate like on the 2? Thanks again.

In that case, go for the R888's - GG (medium) compound. You should get at least 4 or 5 hard trackdays out of them, if not more.
£599 isn't a bad price at all. I've seen over £700 a set before today. Camskill used to be the cheapest, but try blackcircles as well.

Another option... yokohama ad07. My brothers got them on his clio and has done 3 track days (oulton and cadwell twice) and about 1000miles on road and apart from the rubber shifting they have loads of tread left. Maybe not as sticky as the 888 but there are an option.

Hurry or anyone else, what size tyres would you put on these TDs? I was thinking either 235/40/18, 225/35/18 or 255/35/18. Which would be best in people's opinions? Thanks.

8x18's ET 35 235/40/18 = :driver:
