milltek decat downpipe

I'm looking to fit a decat downpipe to my 1.9TDI. Is it ok to fit this to the standard TDI exhaust and then later on get the full milltek system? Just wondering if it will have any negative effect with the standard exhaust with larger downpipe!

PDT:
Thats fine, have fitted lots of the Milltek downpipes onto stock systems.
