Forge Twintercooler with Revo Stage 2
Carrera2RS:
I have had the Forge twintercooler fitted to a Revo stage 2 engine (TBE, filer, ForgeDV).
So far I have not noticed any significant in power (Possibly some at the top end). But it does feel as though the map is not as clean and without the twintercooler.
I am going to speak to Revo to see how long the ECU learning will take to adjust the map. I also wonder if I might be running out of fuel pump range as it feels a little flat and not quite hesitant but less sharp when accelerating, a slight feeling of holding back when accelerating.
Any thoughts
Carrera2RS:
I have spoken to Revo and they suggest leave it for 1-2 weeks as the adaptation can take as long as 24 hours of driving.
I hope this won't go in the classifieds as I do not want to go to Stage 2+

By adding another IC your asking the turbo to pressurise a larger volume of air, thats probably the reason it feels less sharp.
Also, by adding a twintercooler it won't necessarily give you more power on the same map.
Carrera2RS:
I did a bit of reading and the response should be better, as the pressure drop is reduced. Plenums and turbo's behave differently than NA engines.
Most reports say the car feels crisper and sharper, I might try different map settings, I am on 6,5,9 at the moment
Poppa Dom:
A shame you're not there tonight, you could have disconnected the battery, had some food, then driven home to adapt.
