Neuspeed Power Pulley Kit 2.0T

kiddfrost:
In theory the Neuspeed power pulley kit could give you the extra 5-7 bhp they claim. I believe this not because of the lightened pulley but because it's an under drive kit. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's why they give you a shorter belt, because the pulley is smaller and in turn geared down.

Not sure if this is mentioned in their literature ..

ROH ECHT:
I don't know if this helps or not, but they (neuspeed and ECS) told me that under-drive pulleys do not spin the alternator and ac as much as the oem size pulley does and therefore may or may not cause problems with those systems driven by the accessory belt. This is the reason why I went with the AP pulley. It's oem sized and still 2 lbs lighter.

hi, so have there been problems in the states with the neuspeed one like robin has alluded to or is it just a case of the smaller pulley not spinning the alternator as much which could affect say a top end stereo installation

I have had the neuspeed pulley on the car for 4 years now i haven't had any adverse sideeffects, but then again it hasn't had any mindblowing, worldchanging positive effects
