They're not for everyone, just as the squared look of the other ones didn't turn me on...

....They only look strange because we are unfamiliar with that look. Personally I think they look much better than the OEM square cutouts. I considered how to cutout my original ones but didn't think of creating round holes, otherwise I'd have done the same. They've been cut out cleanly and so look good imo.

My wife and I are going to drive down the coast to spend a few days hiking in the redwoods this week.
I will make time to, hopefully, get a photo op in. I think the car in the redwoods could make for some awesome pics...

Shame i brought some high climate ones from VW otherwise i would be doing this.

Thanks, I love to diy when I can so I can put the money into other mods.
The front vw badge I did as well after seeing one on the tmtuning site.
