Thanks @AJP and @MIJ_JAGGER , I'm usually the same AJP but they had a few scratches on so thought I'd give it a go, not sure what's involved in doing the cluster Mij?
Should be easier to take out the cluster and wrap. Pretty flat so shouldn't be difficult seeing that you've done harder bits
Just need to cut around the speedo etc
Pretty sure I saw a pic somewhere, will match all your other bits you've done

Freshened up the calipers and finally fitted the 19" S Lines. Really pleased with the look but getting a bit of rubbing on the arches so may have to look at some different tyres.

My TPMS? £65, so not the cheapest bit of kit. The 12v socket is in a bit of an awkward spot as well, you can still read the screen easily enough though. For that reason this one might be better as it has a tiltable display. Even dearer though!

Got an MDI kit installed to go with the recently acquired RCD510, and put in a new glove box to get rid of the old OEM Nokia cradle.

Big thanks to @Pudding for providing the MDI kit.

Finally, no more messing about with CDs!

Finally fitted full led brake light, reverse and fog bulbs. Enabled emergency brake light flashing in vcds. Tried out some new COB LED side lights, so much brighter than standard SMD leds but run so fecking hot I had to get them out and stick with the bold sport ones!!
Not on the car but for the car in readiness for the summer and detailing... little project on the go...am making a diy sun gun to check for paint swirls and the like.

I picked up my ED30 yesterday.

First thing that was bugging me which I've sorted this morning was to clean up the exhaust tips. I had to use a combo of Gunk De-greaser, Dremel, 600 Grit W&D , 0000 Wire wool and Autosol

Then I polished out some hazing in the headlamps. Not perfect but only took 1 1/2 hours

Oil and filter change today, next on the list:

1.  PCV change
2.  Rear brakes (advisory at last MOT)
3.  Front brakes

If anyone can recommend anywhere online they have bought decent brakes (discs and pads) for a completely standard GTi it would be much appreciated.   :happy2:
