Started to piss with rain, gave up...

Look awesome dude, where did you get them from? Did they cost a bomb?

I sourcedeBay for a set of MK7 R calipers (£110) in black, & got them refurbed by http://www.brakecaliperrefurbs.co.uk/

Oil and filter change. Took mudflaps off, let me know if you want any topsoil.

Fitted the calipers and new HEL lines.

TBH it's just nice to fit newer parts.

Suspension next I feel. Look at the state of the rust.

Due to the weather gave my car a good detail outside today. Noted a few things that are needed. It never seems to stop.

So - front plastic grill (upper bit with number plate) is next on list. Sigh.

@absolute good to see you've jacked it up on the console bush bolt  :happy2:   Brakes look smart.  Yep, get that stock nastiness off and fit something far more fruity and delicious.

Cheers for the advice @Pudding. It's easier to jack this way, too.

I'm thinking about some bilstein's + WALK.

Stage 1 now, so need a clutch....

Certainly is mate and a structurally solid part of the car  :happy2:

WALK or SALK is a good move, or the softer S3 inserts if you want a bit less NVH.

Bilstein B12 with H&Rs, Eibach or H&R anti-roll bars and you'll have a very well sorted car in the corners!

Replaced the in tank fuel pump and the wiring harness that goes with it. Hopefully the next scan with VCDS will no longer show these as errors.

Is yours lowered any chance? I am not after a harsh ride myself, thinking of just remaining at stock height.

Yep, a whopping 20mm lower

Stiffer springs at standard height don't exist.  You can run standard height with coilovers though, but I find dropping it just a smidge feels a bit more hunkered down in the corners.

The B12s are a bit jiggly over bad surfaces, I'll warn you now.  On a flowing B road though, that style of damper is hard to beat

I had b12 kit in my old s3 8l years back.
Was great in the corners but found it harsh for everyday use unless was on smooth roads which don’t hardly exist in uk.
What about some eibach pro kit springs

I'm looking for comfort over everything else. Sure, if I can get comfort and some stiffer springs in the corners sign me up baby!

Sounds like you should get some stiffer anti roll bars, is a nice combo with comfortable suspension. I use H&R ones with Racingline suspension and Pudding uses Eibach with his Ohlins.

Stiff and comfort rarely go hand in hand sadly
