Replaced the shocks and struts all round with good quality boge std parts then replaced springs with eibach 1" lowered all round and new rear bump stops. Much better firm ride on my 4motion, a little lower than stick I think. better than the broken springs that were on the front - one broke in half and the other broke in two places! Also painted up the rear boot badge to gloss black that was badly corroded... Sorry didnt take pics yet.

Next job is new front wings as both gone rusty..

How difficult was this to do, as mine also needs replacing.

Dead easy. Front offside wheel off, about 10 torx screws need undoing so the arch liner can come out and then drill out two metal rivots so you can access the siren. I used two cable ties to re-secure the box that holds the siren to the inner wing. Takes 20 minutes.

Took the rear boot badge off, sanded it down to get rid of corrosion then primed and painted gloss black. Did the same with the plastic wheel inserts that were black/chrome - now matching the black wheels for a cleaner look...

Replaced the black plastic cover that goes over the rear wiper spindle as it was badly faded. Only a minor thing but the rear does look a bit fresher now.

Gave her a wash.

Going in tommorow for some bits and pieces - just changed xenon bulbs but need adjustment. Also replacing the under bonnet sound deadening as mine is losing its insides. Apart from that she doesn't need much else done.

Fitted ram air cai for 'whoosh'
Spark plugs

Can you stick on any revision? I don't really know the difference between revisions or if I should tackle the job myself. It is running stock so need some guidance.
