Cheers, I'll grab one when I'm at the stealer next.  I don't like things not being 'right'.  Bloody previous owners

Removed the front seats so I could clean the carpet underneath them!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Oil changed, filter changed. Aftermarket garbage stereo replaced with OEM DVD/Nav headunit which is a lot nicer!

Replaced trashed headlight switch with a nice new one, car got a good wash inside and out too :D

Front passenger side brake hose replaced as it decided to burst apart the other day...

Unfortunately while bleeding I discovered the drivers side is split too and will probably burst soon so that's gonna need replaced too, and on the same caliper the bleed nipple is needing replaced.

Probably gonna just replace all the other brake hoses in the next week.

Also discovered what the alloys are that are on the car, set of 17" OZ Michelangelo 10's, but need to refurb them and get new centre caps as those are horrible.

Take the time to do the shutter wire! Full beam is amazing when open! Took me 6 months to bother myself to do it and kick myself for taking so long!

Did the coding in vcds anyway. The check box for xenons wasn't already ticked either.

Did 350 miles over the weekend averaged 37mpg. Apart from ongoing issue with idle fluctuating  the car was a pleasure to drive

What's the shutter wire thing?  Mine came with xenons from the factory, will they have done that already?  Can't say I'm that impressed with them tbh.....and they wobble over bumps as well, which is super annoying but again......haven't been bothered to sort that in 5 years
