Fitted drivers side wing. Looks so clean now.

Doing the other side tomorrow. Will take some pictures if anyone is interested. Pretty simple really, hardest part was sitting it true.

Yeah can you take some photos on step by step how you did it please. I've got some rust bubbles starting to appear and would like to see how it's done to replace it.
Will do

Where did you get the wings from? Look like a really good match.

...something I occasionally wonder about...what are those detailed sections below the headlights and above the fog light area for?
Just for detail, or do some models have something else in that section?

How well did the panels fit? Have been thinking about lothian wings for a while now, colour matching and fitment is whats stopping me.

Had my extra Ed30 alloy refurbed for a spare to match my others previously done by www.lepsons.com in Gillingham, Kent (in Light Anthracite)

Now to get tyres fitted to the other 4 and put them on the car :)

Preparing my 18” Monza’s to replace my 17” winter set (since weather is getting warmer). Had a bit of kerb damage to 2 of the wheels and whilst they were still off I wet sanded and polished it back. Finished with a few layers of lacquer and then polished it back. Because of the diamond polish facing its not 100% but its only now really noticeable up close. Run out of time but will clean them all and put some gtechniq C5 before swapping them over this weekend. Overdue but the 17” will be refurbed before being stored away again.

Today (and yesterday) I mostly fitted the Mk7 style climatronic controls and Air Quality Sensor (and single motor recirculation flaps). Also passive TPMS and a USB charging port.

Spot the difference... same car 5 years apart. Love how you can update these things!
Before

After

If you have dual motor recirculation flaps, updating to the later single motor flaps (to stop the windows misting after the Mk6/Mk7 panel upgrade) is quite a job, I wouldn't want to do it again.

Hello, I have seen all the modifications you have gone to your mk5, did you do it yourself or did you take it to a garage to do all those things? Is it a case of buying the parts slowly on eBay, totalled cars etc?

gave it a wet vac as a bit of mould had appeared on the seats after it's year long hibernation.
