Put a new cabin filter in - I was getting some funky smells in the cabin when I put the fan or AC on.

Not tested to see if this has cured it, the old cabin filter wasn't too dirty.

Had a new a/c compressor and condenser installed. After nearly 5 years of poor aircon, it's working properly again. I bet that condenser won't stay shiny for long!

That's one way to get the blood pumping, saw tyre was low this morning so took it for some air it had 17psi so I topped it to 37psi all others were ok. Driving on motorway 70mph in the outside lane peak traffic and could feel steering sway to the right. Didn't click what was happening so hazards on and to the hard shoulder. Pilot sport 4 with less than 4k miles in them btw. Safe which is all that matters

Nothing as exciting or stressful as above but another year another MOT pass (along with full service). No advisories not that I was expecting it as I’ve been working through preemptive fixes through last few weeks. Just need to change the charcoal canister but waiting for stock order at VW.

I have had an occasional engine warning light (P0171 lean mix) which I thought was the PCV which was replaced a few weeks back. Turns out my 911 engine cap (which was a genuine Porsche OE one) is the culprit with a slight leak so back to the boring old bog standard VW oil cap now. Don’t know if I still have any warranty left on the oil cap - need to dig out the receipt. Just wanted to let people know in case others had similar. Next job is to swap the front and rear wheels around to keep the tyre wear even.

Replaced the passenger door lock module this morning as was sometimes not unlocking on the first go. Replaced my drivers one just over a year ago and has been great since. Only took an hour from start to finish using the guide on this site 👍🏻

I have gloss black wrapped my trims already,  but decided to add a red pin stripe to carry the GTI theme into the interior without going too crazy

Guys I'm getting aP0299 underboost code, on the Edition 30 freeze frame data showed at 6700rpm it was only making 1020mbar. Did some high load logs earlier when roads were quiet, it's making 1.5bar atm....Feels quicker than ever too.

Not smoke tested it to see if its got a leak, but the requested and actual boosts seem to match? Diverter valve flutters sometimes, get a rattle from guessing wastegate on start up ?
