I gave my engine and bay a little clean, then fitted an eBay short shifter, checked the condition of my diverter valve - happy to say there are no holes. Its a revision c.

I replaced the Moonroof(←US title  :ashamed:)  switch today...can help with that if anyone is in need.

Found out the reason for my 'power dip' from 3rd to 4th is my mechatronics unit giving up

GTI booked on monday to have clutch and flywheel done but been sent wrong flywheel :sick:

Also rear spring arms bolts were seized and new ones not here till Friday ..  :sad1:

I'm travelling to UK Friday 8th so hope it's done by then otherwise I'm walking haha!

Ordered a new cam follower from VW this morning should be here in time for the weekend so that should keep me busy. I figured I better change it as the car is on 104K with no history of it ever being replaced  :grin:

Both drop links replaced and did a oil and filter change too. Now running with millers nanodrive oil, thanks to the @oilman recent offer.
